Health, Safety, Environment and Quality
At Weber, we go above and beyond to ensure a safe, healthy, environmentally friendly and high-quality way of working. We pride ourselves on setting standards at every stage of our projects while contributing to the well-being of our employees, customers and society as a whole.
Health Protection
A pillar of occupational safety is to design workplaces according to ergonomic aspects. It is our goal to keep the level of physical and psychological strain of our employees as low as possible. Risk assessment is the basis for preventive measures. Lifting aids and transportation devices are just a few examples. Even minor alterations on the workplace can facilitate the execution of arduous tasks. The regular consultation of our employees by the occupational health service is an essential part of our health management. Occupational health screening serves an early diagnosis and prevention of occupational diseases and work-related health problems.
Lasting Safety Awareness
Occupational health and safety is and will remain a leadership task. We distinguish ourselves by acting as role model and taking responsibility for the consistent compliance with rules and regulations. However, safety awareness is not only obtained by compliance. It is our goal that our employees integrate our safety standards as well as those of our customers into their day-to-day activities as a matter of course, actively participate in our safety measures, and contribute to finding solutions.
Environmental and Energy Management
The environmental management system is aiming at the permanent improvement of operational environmental protection. This includes a continuous improvement of measurable results such as energy consumption or waste production. Health and safety of our employees and our social responsibility for the public are elements of our corporate goals. All employees work with equal responsibility regarding the daily implementation of environmental protection measures. Every employee has the obligation to point out recognised dangers and the right to the elimination of potential dangers. The employees are strongly encouraged to observe and comply with these requirements in their day-to-day work.
Quality and Continuous Improvement
Quality assurance and quality control are an integral part of our quality management. We make every effort to maintain and extend our leading position. We encourage our workforce to participate actively in a continuous improvement process. Qualified and motivated employees and executives ensure that customer satisfaction does not remain just a buzzword.
