The Weber Industrial Piping and Plant Construction Merseburg is expanding its expertise in plastics technology and is acquiring the operational activities of Thater Kunststofftechnik GmbH, based in the Berlin metropolitan area, through an asset deal.
Effective July 1, 2025, all 15 employees of Thater Kunststofftechnik GmbH will transfer to the Weber Group. This move strategically strengthens Weber’s plastics expertise in plant construction and continues its growth course.
“The acquisition of Thater Kunststofftechnik’s operational areas is a consistent step to expand our portfolio. We look forward to continuing existing customer relationships and jointly unlocking new potentials,” explains Benjamin Weber, Managing Partner of the Weber Group.
The business relationships with all previous customers of Thater Kunststofftechnik GmbH will remain fully intact. Safety, continuity, quality, and partnership-based collaboration will continue to be the focus.
